Gwen Stefani Fashion 2014: L.A.M.B. Presentation Reflects 'The Voice' Mentors' Undeniable Creativity and Style During NYFW [VIDEO] [PHOTOS]
Gwen Stefani has always been a force of undeniable creativity. Since the 1990s, the No Doubt front woman turned fashion standout turned one-woman-show, has made her mark in the entire industry of entertainment. So, it makes sense that after taking some time to be a mom to her children (and brand new baby boy Apollo), she debuted a new L.A.M.B. collection during New York’s famed Fashion Week after three years. Our Enstars Exclusives team was on the scene, and here’s what we saw.
Stefani arrived on the red carpet looking more radiant than ever. Just over an hour before her eclectic presentation was about to begin, she walked the red carpet in a L.A.M.B. black and white blouse and bright pink pants.
She discussed how she made time between doing The Voice, creating new music and being mommy to her three kids, to produce her newest line. She told the Associated Press, "Well, with this collection, I started it so long ago and I’ve just been working on it slowly over the months and we’re here.”
The fashion presentation featured music, inspiration, and imagery that reflected Gwen’s chameleon-like personality. On the carpet, she described her style as “being stolen” from everyone else. At one point, she was inspired by reggae and the islands, at another she was inspired by rock, and all of those phases have some infusion into her line.
As an amazing video concept showed in the background, dancing models appeared onstage to show the audience, which included celebrities like famed stylist Rachel Zoe and Orange is the New Black star, Danielle Brooks. Each look had an undeniable piece of Gwen, whether it was a bright color, funky pattern, or slouchy silhouette, it all looked like Gwen would wear it.
Stefani’s creativity surpassed other fashion presentations as an entity of inspiration. To see all of the looks, check out the video below.
