Titled "The 3rd Choir," the Diana Valentine-directed episode may feature John Heard as Special Congressional Investigator Michael Thomas, a man Entertainment Weekly reported will lead the investigation into Hetty's (Linda Hunt) conduct.

When asked by fans if Heard would appear in her upcoming episode, Valentine coyly replied, "Maybe :)."

TV Line recently teased that someone is targeting Hetty through her review, and Heard's casting makes one wonder if he is the one who has it out for the Operation's Manager. Whatever the case, this will be one situation that Ms. Lange will find it hard to escape.

"We actually see Hetty reach a point where she cannot resolve the situation herself," said series creator Shane Brennan, according to TV Line. "She hits a wall, where she can't do any more than what she's done."
