Carly Rae Jepsen Nude Photos Stolen by Hacker Are Real
Real nude photos of Carly Jae Repsen may have been obtained by a hacker. The 26-year-old singer has recently been embroiled in a sex tape scandal - which she brushed saying that is obviously not her. But she has remained quiet and even called a police investigation after a hacker allegedly stole nude photos from her computer.
The 26-year-old singer has not commented on the nude photos taken from her computer, prompting speculation that the naked photos are indeed real. According to The Sun, she reportedly claimed that someone hacked into her computer and stole the naked pictures to sell them to tabloids.
Lookalike pictures claiming to be naked shots of the Canadian singer emerged few weeks ago, but representatives clearly denied that they were of Repsen, saying it is "200 percent not Carly." Repsen had also denied the photos were of her, and eventually it emerged that the nude photos were of a 21-year-old model named Destiny Benedict who also resembles Jepsen.
The singer herself denied the sex tape allegations, tweeting: "Crazy Morning. Discovered that someone put up a sex tape claiming to be me. Ridiculous. Obviously not me."
It has been confirmed that Canadian authorities are investigating "theft of electronic property belonging to Jespsen."
Despite the nude scandals, Canadian singer Carly Rae Jepsen recently released a new music video "Good Time". The new song and video was released in collaboration with Owl City and follows her hit song "Call Me Maybe."
Jepsen scooped up two awards at the Teen Choice Awards 2012 over the weekend. She closed the ceremony by performing her hit song, after winning surfboards for "Breakout Artist" and "Choice Summer Song."
Carly Rae Jepsen, who is Justin Bieber's protégé, came into the spotlight after her catchy song "Call Me Maybe" hit the top of the charts. The song has hit number one in the UK, Canada and Australia and has been in the top 5 on iTunes.
Jepsen was signed on by Justin Bieber's manager's record label "Schoolboy Records/Interscope", after he spotted her track. Bieber appeared in her YouTube video, along with Selena Gomez, and Ashley Tisdale.
Jepsen's YouTube video of "Call Me Maybe" been watched over 167 million times since its launch on Mar 1.
