'American Horror Story' Season 4 Premiere: Jessica Lange Speaks With German Accent In New Clip; First Footage Revealed [VIDEO]
The first footage of the highly anticipated American Horror Story: Freak Show has been released, with an emphasis on Jessica Lange's new character and her very German accent.
A new trailer for several FX shows aired during Tuesday night's premiere of Sons of Anarchy, one of them being American Horror Story: Freak Show. While there were only a few brief scenes shown, it is actually the first real footage from the show that has been released to the public.
The preview begins with Lange's new character Elsa Mars sitting in front of several mirrors, looking as though she's about to cry. The trailer then cuts to a scene of Elsa wearing a stylish hat and giving someone a business card. She tells them in a thick German accent, "Only when entering will you learn its secrets," very likely referring to her freak show.

Lange's Elsa is a German expatriate who owns the freak show, one of the last remaining in America.
There is also a brief shot of Angela Bassett's character Desiree Dupree sitting on the lap of Michael Chiklis' character Dell Toledo. The characters, who are both performers in the freak show, are also married. Desiree has three breasts while Wendell is a strongman.
The other scene features Evan Peters' new character Jimmy Darling standing in a field with the wind blowing. He is holding the World's Smallest Woman Jyoti Amge in his arm while fellow freak show performers stand beside him.
Based on the footage being released this week, it seems like fans of American Horror Story will be treated to an official trailer with new footage from the upcoming miniseries.
American Horror Story: Freak Show is set to debut Wednesday, Oct. 8 at 10 p.m. ET/PT on FX.
