A refusal to take a pencil from her so he could show her what he wanted her to draw revealed Ridge's (Thorsten Kaye) huge secret to Caroline (Linsey Godfrey) on The Bold and the Beautiful, and now, the once world-renowned dress designer will need to convince his brother's wife to keep the secret to herself.

Caroline Learns Ridge's Secret

Ridge lost his ability to draw after his helicopter accident in Abu Dhabi, and except for his fiancée, Katie (Heather Tom), and ex-wife, Brooke (Katherine Kelly Lang), he hasn't told anyone at Forrester about the impediment. After giving Caroline some pointers however, he realized he could somewhat draw again if he guided her hand while she designed-a trick he was hoping would protect his secret, but still allow him to turn out designs for the Couture line. But after Caroline continued to draw something other than he wanted, and he refused to take the pencil from her to show her what he wanted, she figure dout the secret.

"I didn't realize I was helping you too," she says to him in a preview clip for the Wednesday, September 10 episode. "Ridge you could have told me."

Ridge Confesses To Brooke

Now, Ridge will need to try and convince Caroline not to tell his younger brother, Rick (Jacob Young) the secret, because he knows that if Rick finds out Ridge can no longer draw, he will kick him out of the family business and give the couture line to his wife-not only forcing Ridge to give up his livelihood, but disgracing him in the fashion world as well.

"If he sees a weakness in me, he's going to strike. It's part of his nature," Ridge cautions Caroline in the clip.

The Bold and the Beautiful airs Monday-Friday at 1:30 p.m. on CBS.
