A freshman series set to air directly before NCIS: LA's new Monday night timeslot, Scorpion will receive a visit from the Office of Special Project's Hetty Lange (Linda Hunt), according to Entertainment Weekly.

The news comes as a surprise to many, considering a crossover with NCIS or the brand new NCIS: New Orleans seemed far more likely as the Shane Brennan series heads into its sixth season. Scorpion's Walter O'Brien (Elyes Gabel) and his crime fighting geniuses will need Hetty more, however.
