'Beauty and the Beast' TV Series Season 3: 'Degrassi' Star Joins Cast Of The CW Series [VIDEO]
Degrassi star Charlotte Arnold will be joining the cast of season 3 of Beauty and the Beast, it was announced on September 8.

The Wrap revealed that the actress will be playing the part of Marissa, "a distraught Midwestern beauty who finds herself in desperate need of help after her stockbroker husband begins displaying strange, violent behavior." The report stated that the actress will be guest starring in the premiere episode of the next chapter of The CW series.
Sturat Gillard, the director of the show recently announced that shooting for season 3 would begin on August 28.
Tess' Older Brother To Be Introduced In Season 3
The executive producer of the CW series, Brad Kern, has also spoken about the what fans can expect from the next chapter of the show in an interview with The Hollywood Reporter.
Kern revealed that season 3 would focus on Catherine (Kristin Kreuk) and Vincent's (Jay Ryan) love.
"Now that we have the loyal audience, the goal is to make it more Cat-Vincent centric," he said. "We'll continue to build the mythology. Everything else will service and work around that love."
Even Austin Basis, who plays J.T. in the show, hinted at the course the show would take in season 3 in a recent interview with Buddy TV. The actor revealed that the plot will only thicken in the next chapter.
"I think from what I know and where it's going, there's going to be a lot of forces and conspiracies that are leading to bigger things. The conspiracy is growing," he said. "Vincent and Catherine and JT and Tess by virtue of their friendship are going to have to team up and face these things and deal with their domestic partnerships and learn how to live that way."
The season 2 finale, Deja Vu aired on The CW at 8 p.m. on July 7.
