It seems that controversial former baseball player John Rocker won't be able to keep his mouth shut on Survivor, based on a new preview released by CBS.

John Rocker, Girlfriend Julie Using 'Mental Toughness,' Could Be "Last Few On Show"

John is one of the new castaways on Survivor: San Juan del Sur, playing with and against his girlfriend Julie McGee as part of the "Blood vs. Water" twist. In a new promo released by CBS, it seems like the baseball star, who said some very controversial comments in a 1999 Sports Illustrated article, is at it again.

In the promo, John throws some very personal insults at Natalie Anderson, saying, "You look like a man, but unfortunately you're not."

New Survivor Contestants Would "Totally Vote Out" Their Loved Ones; Others "Couldn't Do It"

He also gives an offhand remark, "I thought you were supposed to lose weight in Survivor." This causes girlfriend Julie to warn, "John!"

Though it's not clear if Natalie did something to John to make him attack her on a personal level, it still seems like an out-of-line comment based on the editing of the trailer.

It is assumed that John's comments will be made in the premiere episode, so it doesn't seem like he'll be off to a good start only a few days into the game.

Based on the trailer, John may be getting the same (or similar) treatment to Brad Culpepper in Survivor: Blood vs. Water. While the former NFL player was not controversial for his comments, he was pretty disliked by some of the cast, including Marissa Peterson, who famously yelled 'F- you Brad Culpepper!"

Survivor: San Juan del Sur is slated to debut Wednesday, Sept. 24 at 8 p.m. ET/PT on CBS.
