It's almost time for Nashville to premiere its third season, and more teases have been unleashed on the kind of year that audiences will be able to appreciate.

On Wednesday, Entertainment Weekly posted an interview with Connie Britton who plays Rayna on the series. When she was asked if there was an overall theme to the new season, her answer was, "drama, drama, drama."

"I'm hopeful and I think there's an intention in season 3 to really shed even more light on kind of the business side of things, which I always think is really interesting about the show," the actress added.

Britton also revealed that she's recorded some new songs and some new experiences she's had with them.

"I just finished recording a song, and I've got a couple more coming up, and I did a really fun thing a couple weeks ago when we performed at GMA," the actress said. "We performed a song at Good Morning America, which was actually a blast and for me, it was quite an experience."

Britton also pointed out how Nashville creates a perspective on what really happens in the entertainment industry and in new forms of the media.

"It's completely changing the industry, and I think that stuff is really interesting," she said. "It's very relatable to audiences, and I think I'm hopeful that we're going to be having a lot more of that this year, and seeing that through the eyes and the journeys of all the different characters."

Nashville will return on Wednesday, September 24 at 10 p.m. ET on ABC.
