Diehard fans of Evan Peters and Taissa Farmiga's chemistry on FX's American Horror Story likely won't be happy to learn who he's romancing this year.

Freak Show Struggles To Compete With Dawn of Television In American Horror Story Premiere

Farmiga is sitting out of American Horror Story: Freak Show while Peters is playing "lobster boy" Jimmy Darling, a performer in the freak show. According to Ryan Murphy, the show's co-creator, Peters' character will be having a romance with Emma Roberts' new character Maggie.

Murphy gave an interview with Entertainment Weekly recently where he revealed the details of Roberts' new character, revealing that she would have a romantic relationship with Peters' Jimmy Darling.

"She's a fortuneteller with a crystal ball who's a complete con artist. She shows up at the camp to help them and it ends up terribly bad," Murphy explained. Asked if Peters and Roberts would have a romantic relationship on the show, Murphy confirmed, "Yes they do."

Many fans who have been watching American Horror Story since the beginning enjoyed the relationship between Peters and Farmiga, particularly in the first season when they played doomed lovers Tate and Violet, respectively. They had another intense connection during Coven, in which Roberts also starred.

Peters and Roberts are actually engaged to be married in real life. This is Peters' fourth season with the show, becoming one of very few actors who have appeared on all four seasons of the show. He is in a group that includes only Jessica Lange, Sarah Paulson and Frances Conroy.

American Horror Story: Freak Show is slated to debut Wednesday, Oct. 8 at 10 p.m. ET/PT on FX.
