The cast of Showtime's Penny Dreadful officially got back into the swing of things this week, starting with dinner together.

Director Teases New Ethan Chandler & Vanessa Ives Scene On 'Penny Dreadful'

Reeve Carney (Dorian Gray) may not have shared many scenes with Danny Sapini (Sembene), Simon Russell Beale (Ferdinand Lyle) or Helen McCrory (Madame Kali) during Season 1, but on set the actors have become rather friendly.

Carney is certainly excited to be back on set and while he's been in Dublin for a few weeks now reading the scripts and getting fitted for his costumes, the actor finally got to work on Wednesday.

While the actors seem more guarded about what Season 2 secrets they reveal, producer Christopher King has had quite a bit of fun teasing photos from the set.

King's most recent clue suggests Vanessa Ives (Eva Green) will be back to reading her cards in an upcoming episode, though it is uncertain whose fate she is aiming to reveal. Perhaps her own. Or maybe that of a new character. The photo he shares shows her iconic cards spread out across the table in Sir Malcolm's (Timothy Dalton) home, where she also looked into the future of Ethan Chandler (Josh Hartnett) during Season 1.

Penny Dreadful returns to Showtime for a second, longer season in 2015.
