'Captain America 3' News: Steve Rogers Getting New Costume Soon, Will Be More In Line With The Ultimate Comics Than Previously [VIDEO]
Moving from the classic look in the first movie to a more modern mix in the last one, Captain America has gone through a few costume changes in his time. But could his next venture have Steve Rogers wearing something different and new?
Could This 'Captain America 2' Cameo Lead To More Appearances In Marvel Movies?
MoviePilot speculated on Monday that for either Avengers 2 or Captain America 3, Steve Rogers would be going with a different look for his costume and that look could be more in line with what the hero looked like in the Ultimate series.
Rogers has held a few different costumes by now as he has gone more modern with each incarnation. The hero started with the classic look for Captain America: The First Avenger and has since updated the costume more from The Avengers to Winter Soldier.
'Captain America 3' Plot Could Mean Interesting Marvel Cameos
While it doesn't seem like he will be going with the Ultimate look for Avengers 2, or at least judging from the Comic-Con poster, it could be a possibility for the third standalone movie as the hero goes off on a new mission with his team of Black Widow, Winter Soldier, Falcon and possibly Hawkeye.
The costume would also be in line with a comic strip that Marvel has been digging from more recently as it is the latest work from the studio's comics and seems to be where they go digging when they want to go new directions with a character and have exhausted the more well-known plot lines.
Captain America 3 is set to open in theaters on May 6, 2016.
