Ellen DeGeneres, Portia de Rossi News: More Information About ‘Scandal’ Role Released, But Talk Show Host Knows Nothing Despite Being ‘Obsessed’ With Show [VIDEO]
While Ellen DeGeneres is having more fun than ever on her hit daytime talk show, Portia de Rossi is busy herself filming on ABC's hit show Scandal.
Fans got more information on DeGeneres' wife's role on Tuesday from TV Guide. Actor Jeff Perry who plays Cyrus on the show revealed that de Rossi's character will be working with him. And she will figure "prominently" next season as a "professional in politics." He will be part of her arc as he and Fitz (Tony Goldwyn) have a "renewed focus on work."
So, could de Rossi be around longer on the show? It seems like the actress has a big role. But, her wife, like the rest of America, doesn't know anything about it. On her talk show last week, DeGeneres revealed that de Rossi tells her nothing about her favorite ABC drama.
DeGeneres revealed to her audience that de Rossi won't tell her anything even though she is "obsessed" with the hit show.
DeGeneres told her audience, "She is on the show and she's so excited because we're huge fans of the show. Now she knows what's going on, she's got all the information."
Scandal is set to come back to ABC Thursday, September 25 at 9 p.m. ET. DeGeneres' talk show started last week and airs in syndication Monday-Friday.
