On September 17, it was revealed that the ultimate feminist, Gloria Steinem, will be guest starring on season 6 of The Good Wife.

Florrick-Agos & Lockhart Could Become Biggest Firm In The Country?

The Hollywood Reporter reported that Steinem will play a cameo in episode 3 of next chapter. Julianna Margulies, who plays Alicia, was the one who dished this bit of information on Wednesday's Live! With Kelly and Michael.

She went on to state that her experience of filming Steinem, who is a fan of the show, was hilarious as she was totally smitten. "I made a fool of myself and then had to email her and had to apologize," she said.

Governor Florrick's Flirtatious Intern To Return In Season 6

The premiere episode of season 3 is titled The Line. Here's the official synopsis for the episode:

"Alicia is adamant in her refusal to run for State's Attorney despite Eli's attempts to persuade her to launch a campaign. Meanwhile, as Diane considers joining Florrick/Agos as partner, an internal crisis threatens to destroy the firm."

The finale for season 5, titled A Weird Year, aired on May 18.

The highlight of the finale for season 5 was Eli Gould (Alan Cumming) proposing Alicia become a candidate for State's Attorney. The cliffhanger obviously had to do with the big decision Alicia will have to take now.

Season 6 of The Good Wife will air on Sunday, September 21 at 9 p.m. ET/PT on CBS.
