On Twitter Wednesday, Phillips encouraged fans of the popular crime drama, noting that their commitment to the show makes the program stand out amongst the competition.

As producers continue to search for a new network to house the series for Season 4, this wide and devoted fantasy might just tilt the odds in Longmire's favor.
Fans were surprised when A&E elected not to renew the popular drama late last month in spite of it being the network's highest-rated scripted series and the network's second-highest rated series total.
If Longmire does return for a fourth season on a new network, the former A&E drama will likely do so during the second half of 2015.
