‘Days of Our Lives’ Spoilers: Roman Urges Sami Not To Reconnect With E.J. As Ben Gets An Unpleasant Surprise [VIDEO]
Fans may have been hoping Salem's most iconic duo would reunite after an entire summer of hardly getting along, but their friends and family members in town all seem to be against their love blossoming again on Days of Our Lives.
Sami and E.J. Have A Major Relationship Breakthrough
Sami (Allison Sweeney) and E.J. (James Scott) have had one of the most tumultuous relationships in town over the years-filled with games, power plays and affairs--but mostly passion. They were happily engaged to be married again when E.J. began sleeping around with Abigail (Kate Mansi)-something Sami found out about and swore to get her revenge for. After marrying E.J. she has done nothing but exact revenge on both him and his former mistress-but has found herself beginning to soften towards her husband once again.
However, her father, Roman (Josh Taylor) will walk in during an important moment where the two are about to truly rekindle their romance for good-and he won't like what he sees. Despite E.J.'s protests that he does love Sami, Roman will pull his daughter to the side and remind her of all the horrible things E.J. has done to her over the years, in an attempt to keep the couple away from each other once and for all. Whether or not Sami listens to her father however, is entirely up to her.
Abigail Tries Working Things Out With Ben
Meanwhile, Ben (Robert Scott Wilson) is finally marginally happy again now that he and Abigail worked through the snags in their relationship, but he can't shake one particular problem in his life-his father, Clyde's (James Reed) arrival in town. Clyde is still in Salem, trying to start his business there and win his children over, but he's had very little success at getting them to come around.
Now, when Clyde goes to visit Ben at work once again, things could get ugly between the father/son, and Ben could become a victim of his father's deceptive ways.
Days of Our Lives airs Monday-Friday at 1 p.m. on NBC.
