'Ant-Man' Movie News: Evangeline Lilly & T.I. Tease Multiple Villains, Could Mean Corey Stoll Isn't The Only Bad Guy Coming After Paul Rudd [VIDEO]
With production ongoing, there hasn't been too much to see from what Ant-Man has to offer so far. But one of its stars took to Instagram to show off a picture of her that could include a hint at the possibility of multiple villains in the movie.
Did 'Ant-Man' Influence 'Avengers 2' & Its Villain?
Evangeline Lilly took to her Instagram to put up a picture of her with co-stars T.I. and David Dastmalchian with the hashtag #TheCrims, possibly labeling their characters as criminals. She has since taken the picture down.
ComicBook was able to save the picture before the actress took it down and it could be hypothesized that Lilly is saying that the characters played by T.I. and Dastmalchian are going to be criminals, but it could also mean they are part of a team working with Scott Lang (Paul Rudd).
'Ant-Man' Star Disses Comic Book Fans But Not One Marvel Movie
Lang is originally a thief who steals the Ant-Man suit from Hank Pym (Michael Douglas) so he could be labeled a criminal. Could T.I. and Dastmalchian be the men who help Lang with whatever he is stealing? That certainly is a possibility, or they could be bad guys in league with Corey Stoll's Yellow Jacket, which would mean they are against Ant-Man.
Marvel, of course, has dealt with multiple villains in a movie before even recently with Captain: America: Winter Soldier where Robert Redford's Alexander Pierce was actually the main villain with Winter Soldier being secondary.
Ant-Man is set to hit theaters on July 17, 2015 and is directed by Peyton Reed.
