Is NBC's Grimm stealing a cast member from TNT's Franklin and Bash? Not exactly, but Toni Trucks is visiting the show.
How Franklin and Bash Stars Mark-Paul Gosselaar & Breckin Meyer Are Giving Back
TV Line reported on Wednesday that Trucks has been cast as Deputy Janelle Farris, a tough county lawwoman on an upcoming episode of the NBC drama. She will reportedly request Nick (David C. Giuntoli) and Hank's (Russell Hornsby) help with a highway-crime scene that seems off and she will be "pushing her resilience to the limit."
She's expected to appear in the sixth episode of Grimm's new season, which premieres Friday, Oct. 24, at 9/8c. She even tweeted about it thanking the cast of the hit show saying, "We are having too much fun on set already. #DeputyFarris is reporting for duty."
Mark Paul Gosselaar & Breckin Meyer Reveal 'Good Chemistry' On 'Franklin And Bash'
Trucks currently plays Anita on TNT's Franklin and Bash starring Mark-Paul Gosselaar and Breckin Meyer. The show, which is currently in its fourth season, also guest starred Grey's Anatomy star Kevin McKidd in a recent episode.
"The one thing we've always loved about the show is when we're the underdogs with our backs against the walls and we have to fight for the little man," Meyer told TV Guide in August about why he's loving the show so much.
