Could Austin Mahone be the next king of pop? After wrapping up a few dates overseas, the 18-year-old is scheduled to work with Max Martin when he comes back to Miami.
Austin Mahone Gushes About Drake & Lil Wayne Concert 'Incredible'
Martin is famous for working with pop superstars like Backstreet Boys, Britney Spears, Katy Perry and Mahone's pal Taylor Swift. Mahone told Billboard Tuesday that his album and Martin collaboration will feature "a lot of different styles. I'm probably gonna stick with pop for the most part, but I'm gonna jump out to a little more EDM, maybe some R&B, different stuff like that."
It's no wonder Mahone wants to work with Martin, since he's always been a big BSB fan. He revealed to the website that one song that is a "lock" for his next album is called Til I Find You. Mahone said it has a "real EDM kind of Backstreet Boys feel. The beat hits really hard. It's got some futuristic sounds in there, so its gonna take you on a journey if you listen to it."
Austin Mahone Reveals 2015 Plans For Career
Mahone just released a new song with artist Pia Mia that is a cover of Craig David's Fill Me In. He's also gearing up to hit the road for a few last dates.
On Saturday, Mahone will be performing a concert at Citi Field after the New York Mets Game. Mahone will be then be playing October 2 in Mexico City and October 3 in Merida. Followed by Guadalajara on October 4.
