'Glee' Season 6 Spoilers: Quinn, Santana, Brittany & More Rejoin Main Characters In Singing 'Take On Me' For 'Homecoming' [VIDEO]
Song spoilers for the second episode of the upcoming final season of Glee have been released, and it includes most of the show's original cast singing an '80s classic.
NeNe Leakes Returning To Glee For Final Season
The second episode of the final season is titled Homecoming and appropriately features many of the characters reuniting in their hometown. Taking full advantage of this, the episode will feature many songs with the cast singing together, according to MJsBigBlog.
A total of 10 characters will be taking on Take on Me by A-ha: Rachel (Lea Michele), Kurt (Chris Colfer), Sam (Chord Overstreet), Brittany (Heather Morris), Santana (Naya Rivera), Artie (Kevin McHale), Tina (Jenna Ushkowitz), Mercedes (Amber Riley), Puck (Mark Salling) and Quinn (Dianna Agron).
The Wanted Singer Max George May Be Appearing In Final Season of Glee
Quinn, Santana, Brittany and Artie will also be singing amodern hit, Problem by Ariana Grande featuring Iggy Azalea.
Then, Quinn, Santana and Brittany will be leading yet another song, singing Mustang Sally by Wilson Pickett.
A new character named Jane will be leading the Dalton Warblers in singing Tightrope by Janelle Monae.
Jane will join Rachel, Kurt, Brittany, Santana, Artie, Tina, Mercedes, Puck, Quinn, and fellow new characters Mason, Madison, Spencer and Roderick in singing Home by Edward Sharpe and the Magnetic Zeros. This will presumably be the closing song of the episode.
It seems that the Glee writers are taking full advantage of Agron, Rivera and Morris' returns. Agron and Morris had essentially been written out of the show while Rivera did not appear in the last few episodes of Season 5.
Glee's sixth and final season is likely to begin in early 2015 on Fox.
