The RoboCop actor will take on the role of "Rand Palmer" during episode 5 (air order unconfirmed). According to Shockley, Palmer will be a "bad guy to the max."

Directed by NCIS: LA newbie David Rodriguez (Once Upon A Time In Queens) and penned by Kyle Harimoto ("Three Hearts," "Merry Evasion"), the upcoming episode will be filled with pulse-pounding action.

"Stunts, FX, fast cars, big guns," Harimoto teased on Monday.

NCIS: LA will kick off the season with "Deep Trouble: Part 2" on Sept. 29 at 10 p.m. Picking up where the season 5 finale left off, the Office of Special Projects team will be scrambling to save Sam (LL Cool J) and Callen (Chris O'Donnell) from a bomb-laden sub. Unfortunately for Hetty's (Linda Hunt) crew, the Navy will have plans of its own.
