David Clarke's Return Kept A Secret On 'Revenge'? Past & Arrival To Play Out Slowly
Season 4's third episode will be titled "Ashes," and will feature a potentially deadly family reunion orchestrated by the Queen of the Hamptons.
It looks like Victoria is planning on brining Emily Thorne (Emily VanCamp), David Clarke (James Tupper), and Charlotte (christa B. Allen) under the same roof during the Alex Taub-penned episode, and there's no way one room can possibly contain that level of dysfunction. As a result, any one of the attendees could find themselves caught in a deadly crossfire.

Will this be the first reunion between Emily and her father, or will the two cross paths during the premiere or "Disclosure?" VanCamp previously told TV Guide Magazine that David's reunion with his family would be "kind of epic and hugely emotional," and it seems Victoria's little soiree could fit the bill.
Season 4 will open with "Renaissance" during Memorial Day weekend as Emily is still high on the success of her revenge and Victoria (Madeleine Stowe) is safely looked away in a psychiatric hospital. The tables will quickly turn, however, and Emily will spend a large portion of the second episode trying to track down the suddenly elusive Grayson matriarch before evidently meeting up with her during "Ashes."
