It seems like much like two of their most recent features, Fox will be using viral marketing to start promotion on the next X-Men movie, and it includes some investigative journalism behind the death of Senator Ted Kennedy.

According to Cinema Blend on Wednesday, Fox released two new viral sites: TandemInitiative.com and M-Underground.com. Both sites look like something legit, but actually hide information into the plot of the next X-Men film.

According to the site, the Tandem Initiative site encourages its visitors to spread the message #WeAreGifted. Tandem wants you to show off your powers in exchange for the chance to be one of five people chosen for a full genome sequencing, courtesy of Tandem's very own research labs.

Of course, if you're a mutant, you should probably think twice before submitting any sort of proof of said condition to anyone until you've fully vetted them.

The news site, M-Underground, reveals that the late Senator Ted Kennedy's plane crash in 1964, as well as his "original" draft of the speech he gave at the 1978 Democratic National Convention, are both tied to his mutant abilities in some sort of secret history that might explain the Kennedy Curse as a mutant hate crime of the largest scale.

Cinema Blend adds that when you look at the evidence of Senator Kennedy's mutant genomics, it's no surprise that there's a gigantic Tandem Research stamp on all of the pertinent medical reports.

It seems like much like Trask Industries in Days of Future Past, Tandem Research will have a crucial role in whatever happens during Apocalypse. It also is worth noting that the M-Underground site will work as an update for history happening between the two movies and will show the mutant side.

X-Men: Apocalypse is set to open in theaters on May 27, 2016.
