While most of the teams scheduled to begin racing around the world for a $1 million prize in the 25th season of The Amazing Race are hoping to make friends along the way, one team has that specifically on their list of things they don't plan to do.

Firefighters Michael & Scott Say 'First Place Is Second Loser'

In a pre-race interview with CBS, married dentists Misti and Jim Raman admitted that they have no intentions of being eliminated and don't see the point of trying to make friends with their competitors with $1 million at stake.

"We're not going to sacrifice a month of being away from our kids for nothing," Jim said. "We came here with a purpose, and that's not to make friends. We came here to win."

And though they may not be aiming to make friends while they race around the world, the married couple does hope they won't alienate their fans from home-especially their patients-with their tactics that aren't among the ones they use in their everyday lives.

"The race? The race is war," Jim said. "We hope that people at home, especially our patients, can understand that we have to do things a little differently on the race than what we would do in life."

"Pain is temporary. Glory and victory are forever," he added.

The two are also extremely confident they will be able to go far on their journey, because they only thing that could stand in their way is them.

"We plan on dominating all these other teams, I don't think they stand a chance," Jim said. "Probably our biggest risk is that we self-destruct. If we're at odds with each other, we'll fall apart. But working together? We're unstoppable."

The Amazing Race season 25 premieres Friday, September 26 at 8 p.m. on CBS.
