'Hannibal' Season 3 Filming Dates Announced, Will NBC Series Shoot Over Seas?

One of the many guest actors series creator Bryan Fuller would love to see grace his psychological thriller, Tennant was a prospect for season 2 and continues to remain one as production ramps up for season 3.

"I'm a huge fan of David Tennant, and we've been trying to get him on the show for quite some time," Fuller told Metro . "He's such a spectacular actor. He brings such an effervescence to every performance. I would love to have David on the show. Or just write for David! I would kill and eat somebody to work with David! He's my favourite Doctor."

Shocking 'Twists & Turns' Promised For 'Hannibal' Season 3, Bryan Fuller Explains

As per Fuller's 2014 San Diego Comic-Con statements, Hannibal is not eying the Scotsman and Doctor Who alum for any particular role

"With him it's basically, 'Do you want to do the show?' Okay, in that case let's write something fantastic for you specifically,'" Fuller said, according to Digital Spy.

Unfortunately for Fuller, David Tennant is always in high demand. Last season he was busy filming Gracepoint for Fox, but perhaps the Tenth Doctor's schedule will open up later this year.
