Yung Joc made his reality TV debut on the most recent season of Love & Hip Hop Atlanta and dished on what inspired him to call Karlie Redd a "THOT" and make up the now popular term "THOTism" on the VH1 show.

Millions tuned in to see Yung Joc call out Karlie Redd when she caught him cheating and say she was suffering from 'THOTism'; using the term THOT that stands for "That H- Out There.'
While he received backlash for disrespecting his on-again-off-again girlfriend and co-star, Yung Joc defended his rant with Hip Hop Wired during the BET Hip Hop Awards over the weekend.
Karlie Redd Tweets That Yung Joc Is Gay 'He Doesn't Want That To Get Out'
He told the entertainment news site, "I didn't wanna go there bro. But I was pushed. I chose to hold on. I just said some s--- that the world was like 'yeah, that was a good one.' I didn't wanna have to show my a-- but at times I had to I did."
He added that when he said Karlie Redd was participating in 'THOTism," that was the first time he had ever used the word.
"It came to me off the top of my head. What the world didn't see was I had to endure 10 minutes of her bashing me. I tried to be a gentleman. I took it until I couldn't take it no longer. By the time I started, it was hard to stop me. So it was a lot y'all didn't see."
As for as what "THOTism" actually means, the It's Going Down rapper also broke it down for viewers.
"It's serious man. It's like when you do thot like s---. Thot like activity. When your Thot-ful."
