'Reign' Season 2 Spoilers: Francis's Father Might Be Haunting Him As Mary Struggles To Feed Everyone After A Famine Spreads [VIDEO]
The time has almost come for Reign to air its season premiere for Season 2, but some other information has been released on what's going to come after that.
Will Mary Have A Baby On 'Reign?'
On Friday, Carter Matt posted the synopsis of the third episode called "Coronation" that will air on October 16. Things are already becoming worse for everyone in the kingdom as a famine takes place that leaves everyone in grave danger. So Mary will have to find a way to feed everyone while risking the anger from Lord Narcisse, played by Craig Parker.
Meanwhile, Francis might be going a little crazy since a part of him will believe that the spirit of his dead father can possess the bodies of the living while haunting him as a vengeance spree. Catherine will also go out of her way to prepare for a coronation ceremony as Bash confronts the reality of a country that's been plagued by horrendous acts. This includes murder, fear and bankruptcy.
Someone Might Return From The Dead On 'Reign'
As for this "haunting" situation that could take place, series creator Laurie McCarthy recently spoke to BuzzFeed News where she mentioned how some dangerous situations might occur due to feelings of remorse.
"They're people who are born of such privilege, but they're haunted by their responsibility and they've made a lot of choices that have spilled a lot of blood," the creator said. "If you've committed a lot of sins, you may be haunted by nightmares or visions."
Reign Season 2 will premiere on Thursday, October 2 at 9 p.m. ET on The CW.
