Chris Soules has reportedly just started filming his season of The Bachelor, so what would former Bachelor contestant Sean Lowe tell the new reality star?

Creator Mike Fleiss Reveals 'The Bachelor' Has Already Started

In his blog Thursday, Lowe offered up his own observations. He said that people on the show fall into two categories: Category Soul Mate or Category Crazy.

Lowe said in terms of the soul mate, half of the girls actually want to be there to find someone and the producers do believe in true love. "They want nothing more than a proposal and a wedding at the end of each season. The producers know that the magic recipe for high ratings is tons of drama capped off with the true love and a fairy tale ending," Lowe wrote. "Each year, they go to great lengths to try and find compatible contestants during the casting process."

Despite Early Reports, One Contestant Not On 'The Bachelor'

But, Lowe does acknowledge that the producers also want to get high ratings. Some of the people on the show don't realize they're actually "crazy," Lowe wrote. Some, he wrote, are attracted to "crazy" people, while The bachelor may not even realize that some are in fact "crazy." Lowe also said that the actual show and the process can drive people to become crazier than they may actually be.

Lowe tells Soules that he has a lot of "excitement, adventure and romance" to look forward to.

The Bachelor will air on ABC beginning in January 2015.
