'Justice League' Rumors: 'Suicide Squad' Could Be A Future Battle For The Team, Would Lead To Massive Fight In Later Movie [VIDEO]
With Warner Bros. setting up their new comic book universe on the screen, it seems like they will be setting up a bad guy team of their own, much like Sony with the Sinister Six. But could they be headed for a crash course with the Justice League?
Could Aquaman's Story Be Close To The 'Throne Of Atlantis' Story Arc In 'Justice League?'
Warner Bros. is looking at Fury and End of Watch director David Ayer to adapt a version of Suicide Squad. The Suicide Squad are a team of elite criminals given a chance for redemption by working for the government on extremely dangerous, life threatening missions.
The roster has shifted many times in the past, but popular and frequent members include Deadshot, Harley Quinn, Amanda Waller and Plastique.
There hasn't been much word yet on a villain for the Justice League movie with rumors saying that Darkseid will be the big bad, but will come along later much like Thanos in Marvel. So could the Suicide Squad cause problems for the Justice League?
It could happen as most of the members are foes for each member of the group. While a whole movie focused on the two teams fighting may be out of the question, it could have this team popping up in other properties and messing with the heroes of the Justice League.
It also allows Warner Bros. to try and develop multiple teams, much like Marvel with the Avengers and Guardians of the Galaxy, to make their universe more full and varied.
Justice League is expected to come out sometime in 2017.
