'The Originals' Season 2 News: Klaus & Marcel Discuss Strategy As The Wolves Hold 'Something Very Dangerous' Against Them [VIDEO]
Klaus (Joseph Morgan) and Marcel (Charles Michael Davis) made peace during The Originals season one finale last spring and now the old friends and recent enemies must work together if they are going to take back New Orleans.

On Tuesday The CW released a new clip from next week's premiere "Rebirth" (featured below), which showed Klaus meeting with Marcel in his new apartment across the water to discuss strategy.
"The wolves have the numbers…" declared Marcel, "They've had wolves coming in from packs all over."
'The Originals' Gets A Bloodthirsty Poster For Season 2
It looks like Klaus' plan will be to take out the 12 werewolves with the rings that were designed to weaken him during every full moon, but in the clip Marcel suspected there's something else also going on.
A murderous warpath is one of Klaus' favorite plans of action, and yet he will not be setting out in the premiere to kill every werewolf he finds until all of the rings are retrieved. According to Marcel Klaus has opted to "stall" for time.
"It's possible they're in possession of something very dangerous to us," explained Klaus gravely during the final moments of the 46-second clip. What do the wolves have? Or perhaps who is it they have?
Season 2 is set to pin Klaus and his brother Elijah (Daniel Gillies) against their monstrous father Mikael (Sebastian Roche) who returned near the end of Season 1. They will also be battling the wolves in order to make the city safe for Klaus' daughter Hope, who was sent away during last season's finale. Then of course there is Hope's mother Hayley (Phoebe Tonkin), a former werewolf who is struggling to deal with the fact that she has become a hybrid.
If the recent CW teasers are any indication, the Mikaelsons will have their work cut out for them.
The Originals returns to The CW for a second season on a new night Monday, Oct. 6 at 8 p.m. ET/PT.
