The seventh installment will be titled "Little Yellow House" and it will be penned by Mentalist newbie Marisa Wegrzyn (Mind Games).

Currently heading into its final season, The Mentalist is in the middle of filming for episode 6, "Green Light," which was also written by a first time Mentalist writer, Alex Berger (Franklin & Bash, Covert Affairs).

The 13-episode season will premiere at midseason, and will open with "Nothing But Blue Skies." The season 7 premiere will then be followed by "The Greybar Hotel," "Orange Blossom Ice Cream," an untitled episode 4 (formally referred to as "Pink Rocks), and the Simon Baker-directed "The Silver Briefcase."

When The Mentalist resumes, Patrick Jane and Teresa Lisbon will still be adjusting to their new romantic relationship. Set not long after the events of "Blue Bird," the premiere will also introduce a new member to the FBI team. Agent Vega (Josie Loren) will join Agent Abbott's (Rockmond Dunbar) crew, and the newbie won't warm to Jane's unorthodox ways immediately.
