Jamie Dornan Reveals Which Role Left Him 'Scarred'

Dornan has admitted that the writing and the character has stayed with him past filming The Fall. According to The Guardian, Dornan said, "You can't fail to be left slightly scarred by inhabiting someone like that for two seasons. I do carry elements of him with me in a worrying way. I find him relatable ... I have a deep understanding of him and why he is why he is."

Dornan may find Spector relatable, but one thing he admitted he wasn't ready for was the fanfare surrounding Fifty Shades of Grey.

Dornan admitted to Women's Wear Daily he didn't know what to expect when the film comes out in February 2015. "I know things will probably get a little crazy," he said, "but I can't prepare for something I've never experienced." Although the book is known for being very racy, Dornan said the film would be able to reach a wider audience. "They can't alienate an audience," he told GQ Magazine (via Yahoo Movies). "You know it has to be watchable. It can't be hardcore. I wouldn't have signed up to it if it was."
