The main characters on ABC's Once Upon a Time will continue to have connections with ice cold characters as Season 4 moves forward.

Elizabeth Mitchell's powerful Snow Queen is still slated to appear this season on Once Upon a Time and she won't be interested in Frozen's Queen Elsa (Georgina Haig), a surprise to some. Instead, she will take interest in Emma (Jennifer Morrison).

"The Snow Queen definitely has her sights on Emma for a particular [reason]," Morrison revealed in a new Entertainment Weekly report.

Additionally, Ginnifer Goodwin, who plays Snow White on the series, says that she will find herself connecting with Elsa.

"We do cross paths, and Elsa does provide some solace in some ways," Goodwin said in the report. "She and Snow are able to relate about some things down the line in the season that I found to be surprising and powerful."

Meanwhile, Rumple (Robert Carlyle) and Belle (Emilie de Ravin) may have shared a poignant Beauty and the Beast moment in the premiere, but more conflict may be ahead for the couple. Passing on a question from a fan, TVLine asked OUAT co-creator Adam Horowitz if the Sorcerer's Hat may be another secret Rumple keeps from Belle.

"Rumple certainly seemed to recognize the hat when he saw it. And he certainly seemed to think it was quite important. What it is, and why he desires it become important to the story in the near future," Horowitz responded.

However, the sixth episode of the season will be "Belle-centric" and Carlyle told TVLine that "Anyone that loves that [Rumbelle] relationship will really enjoy those scenes."

Once Upon a Time airs Sundays at 8 p.m. ET/PT on ABC.
