Kristen Stewart Rupert Sanders Affair Puts Robert Pattinson in Awkward Place for 'Twilight: Breaking Dawn Part 2' Promo Tour
The Kristen Stewart, Rupert Sanders affair has sparked fears that the upcoming "Twilight: Breaking Dawn Part 2" press circuit may become extremely awkward.
Reports have emerged that have described Robert Pattinson as being stressed out that he will have to tour for weeks on end with Kristen Stewart to promote the final part of the Twilight Saga series.
Pattinson has had his heart broken by Stewart, as news broke recently that she had an affair with her Snow White and the Huntsman director Rupert Sanders. Photos have emerged in Us Weekly showing Stewart and Sanders meeting up, kissing in a car with Kristen pushed up against the window, and the two secretly snuggling up rubbing bodies together near the Hollywood sign. The photos have shocked Twilight fans who had thought Pattinson and Stewart's romance on and off screen was perfect. However, the pictures showed Sanders pushing Stewart up against the car window kissing what seems to be her body.
Pattinson has already moved out from his shared accommodation with Stewart in Los Angeles, but his contract with the Twilight producers means he is obligated to take part in joint appearances with Stewart to promote the new movie. They would have to do interviews together, as well as attend premieres together.
According to 411Mania a source close to Pattinson has said, "Rob is in pieces, but the Twilight love triangle storyline is nothing without him and Kristen. It is eating him up that he has no choice but to see her again because of work. His humiliation is total."
The promotional tour could see the troubled couple travel together to various countries to promote the hugely popular movie series. The promotional events are scheduled to begin from October, and studio representatives are sure to be watching developments closely as the repercussions of a feud played out in front of Twilight fans will surely concern them. It remains to be seen whether bosses will see the current publicity surrounding Stewart and Pattinson as an opportunity or as a problem.
"The Twilight Saga: Breaking Dawn, Part 2" is scheduled to open in the United States on November 16.
