Supernatural is ready to unleash the Deanmon.

Sam & Dean Personal Arcs Outweigh Upcoming Big Bad Storyline On 'Supernatural'

The CW series' elder Winchester received a new pair of shiny black eyes at the end of season 9, and viewers will catch up with hell's newest demon in the aptly titled "Black."

To prepare you for Tuesday's premiere, we've put together a little preview of what you should expect from Sam (Jared Padalecki), Dean (Jensen Ackles), and Castiel (Misha Collins).

Crowley Needs Castiel's Help On 'Supernatural', Demon Dean Out Of Control In 'Soul Survivor'

Dean

"Black" will pick up several weeks after Dean's transformation, and the former hunter won't be too torn up about his death.

"It's fun because he ends up being too much for Crowley to handle, so to speak," Ackles told TV Line. "It's like an ultra version of a womanizing party animal. He's out partying in Vegas with the King of Hell, he's got backstage passes and he doesn't give a sh-t about anything."

Demon Dean won't want Sam to find him and spoil his fun, but the Mark of Cain bearer won't be a barrel of laughs either.

"There's nothing funny about this at all," Ackles said of Dean's new attitude, according to Spoiler TV. "He's so just kind of carefree and careless, [and] that I think is the scariest part about it to me, playing it."

Sam

After leaving a deceased Dean in the Men of Letter's bunker, Sam Winchester returned moments later to find that his brother mysteriously vanished. Unaware that Dean is a demon, Sam will search high and low for the vanishing corpse.

"Sam is so invested in finding his brother that it leads him to do some questionable things that will make him and, certainly, the audience wonder which one of these guys is the true monster," teased executive producer Jeremy Carver, according to TV Line.

When Sam does discover his brother's fate via security cam footage, he will set about finding a way to fix him.

"As soon as [Sam] finds out [Dean's a demon], he's heartbroken," Padalecki said at NJCon. "He knows how to cure demons, but he doesn't know if Cas has enough strength. So Sam has to go back to studying and using all of his brainpower to try and figure out how to make Dean all better."

Cas

Despite wanting to find and cure Dean as soon as possible, the third member of Team Free Will won't travel with Sam during the season 10 opener. Flagging thanks to his dying grace, Cas will team up with Hannah while he searches for the missing Winchester brother.

"He's very impaired. So he's just getting weaker and weaker," Collins explained to Ksite TV. "He's not really human, but his powers are very depleted and he's sick."

While the Winchesters are prone to wheedling deals and jumping into pits to keep each other safe, Cas will have a more realistic out look regarding the Deanmon problem.

"Even though it might be hard to hear, it might be hard to say, he tells Sam, 'Listen, you know what you have to do if things don't go right,'" Ackles told TV Line
