The cast of Longmire has tried to keep the series alive since its cancellation by A&E last month through Twitter, but now it looks like they also intend to take over YouTube.

'Longmire' Cancellation Could Help Book Sales

Stars Lou Diamond Phillips (Henry), Adam Bartley (Ferg), Louanne Stephens (Ruby), and A. Martinez (Jacob) have all maintained an active social media presence with the #LongLiveLongmire hashtag on Twitter, posting words of encouragement and retweeting support from fans.

Over the last week, however, some of the actors, including Phillips and Bartley, have posted videos on YouTube sending personal messages of thanks to the fans. Robert Taylor is one of the latest to post such a video.

Known for portraying the title character of Sherriff Walt Longmire, Taylor is the only major cast member not to have a Twitter account. Nonetheless, this hasn't stopped him from posting videos online.

Lou Diamond Phillips Never Considered His 'Longmire' Gig 'Work'

In his latest message from Thursday, the actor made every word count as he reached out to fans in under ten seconds.

"Posse," declared Taylor, who wore a baseball cap outside and spoke in his rich, natural voice, "You're doing a great job. Keep up the good work. These things take time."

His request for patience as producers for the crime drama search for a new network echoes early statements from other members of the cast. Back on Sept. 18, Phillips had made a similar statement on Twitter, telling fans to have "faith" and that "talks" were happening to get the program another season.

If Longmire does find a new network for its fourth season, the series will likely return with new episodes during the second half of 2015.
