‘Bold and the Beautiful’ Spoilers: Ridge & Katie End Engagement After He Is Fired From Forrester For Lying To Rick? [VIDEO]
Ridge's (Thorsten Kaye) huge secret is out, and the revelation could not only affect his position at Forrester Creations, but his relationship with Katie as well on The Bold and the Beautiful.
Now that his brother, Rick (Jacob Young) has learned that Ridge has been unable to draw following his accident in Abu Dhabi, and has been using Caroline (Linsey Godfrey) to help him turn in designs for his new collection, Ridge's job security could be on the line-as Rick is furious that Ridge has been lying and monopolizing time with his wife to promote designs Rick now sees as false representations of talent.
"You have put this company and this collection at risk because you couldn't tell the truth," Rick says to his older brother in a preview clip for the Wednesday, October 8 episode.
Katie Confronts Ridge & Caroline
Though Rick may want to fire his brother, he is not the CEO of the company, meaning he can't do anything for now-though he may try.
Ridge's job isn't the only thing that could be on the line however, because working as closely as he has with Caroline has become extremely important to him, and the relationship that is forming between the two has affected his and Katie's plans to marry. Despite the effects the secret has now had on his life however, he will still insist on keeping up the partnership with the younger designer.
"I have to see this through with Caroline," he tells Katie in the clip.
And though Katie initially seemed wary of the partnership, her conversation with Brooke (Katherine Kelly Lang) before she left for Milan is still sitting with her and making her second-guess her decision to be with Ridge-and as she wonders how she genuinely feels about both him and Bill (Don Diamont), she will become more understanding of Ridge's desires to work with Caroline.
"I think I'm just beginning to realize how important this is to you," she says.
The Bold and the Beautiful airs Monday-Friday at 1:30 p.m. on CBS.
