Lady Gaga Doubles Up In PVC For New Perfume Ad
Lady Gaga released the second ad for her first fragrance "Fame."
While the last ad featured a naked Gaga laying sideways with figures of tiny men she calls her "little monsters" strategically placed all over her body, this image features a double image of the pop star facing herself completely covered up in PVC from head to toe.
"I'm so excited! Just got the green light to post the 2nd Ad for my fragrance! Hold please," she tweeted.
"Photograph By Steven Klein 2nd Ad for fragrance. Fame is an illusion. If you really want it, anyone can have it," she wrote on her Little Monsters website.
She had released the first ad for her debut scent via Twitter as well. She tweeted: "Photo by STEVEN KLEIN. The First Ever Black Eau de Parfum. Model: Lady Gaga."
Lady Gaga's new perfume will be in a black liquid form which is clear when sprayed on.
According to Digital Spy, the "Paparazzi" singer originally wanted it to be a blood and semen scented perfume.
Lady Gaga plans to throw a festive debut party to celebrate the launch of the product. "There will be theater..." Renato Semerari, President of Coty Beauty who is producing the line, told WWD exclusively. "She's not the kind of person who just shows up and says hello."
Prices for the "Fame" perfume range from $19 for a mini-roller ball to $79 for the largest bottle. The "Fame" gift set will include Black Soap, shower gel and body lotion.
The egg-shaped bottle was inspired by her infamous 2011 Grammy red carpet entrance and performance. She was carried in an egg and later performed on stage coming out of it when it cracked open.
"Lady Gaga conceived this egg idea back at the Grammy Awards where she came out of an egg, so it's symbolic," a marketing rep told WWD.
"Fame," the first black Eau de Parfum, will arrive in stores in September.
