An on-set photo of filming of season 3 of House of Cards in Washington D.C. was recently revealed.

On October 7, he Washington Post published the image from a fan of the show who spotted the cast and crew in action and snuck a picture from across the street.

The filming was taking place at DAR Constitution Hall, and the Post confirmed that the capture was legit.

In August, Kevin Spacey, who plays Frank Underwood, revealed a few details about the filming in D.C.

Politico initially reported that the Netflix drama will be shooting in D.C. A "mock-motorcade scene" and "b-roll footage" is to be captured in the setting and some fans might have been able to access the filming as it was taking place outside.

Spacey tweeted in August 9:

"Congress is on vacation & so am I. Sorry but today is a day off. No actors will be filming today in DC. All 2nd unit stuff. #HouseOfCards"

The third season of House of Cards is currently filming in Maryland, where the first and second seasons were also shot. Initially, the continuation of filming of the third season of the Netflix series was fraught with troubles over the past few weeks as the producers weren't getting permission from the State of Maryland. But the issue was finally resolved on April 25.

House of Cards is helmed by Beau Willimon and stars Kevin Spacey, playing Frank Underwood, and Robin Wright, playing Claire Underwood.
