'Witches Of East End' Season 3 Renewal: Series Might Have A Slim Chance Of Getting New Episodes After Losing Viewers? [VIDEO]
It looks like the chances of Witches of East End being renewed for a third season may not be as hopeful as some had anticipated for.

On Tuesday, Carter Matt posted information from TVbythenumbers where it was mentioned that the Season 2 finale drew in 1.1 million viewers and a 0.5 rating in the 18-49 demographic. While this might seem like a decent amount, this is apparently much less than what the Season 1 finale had with 600,000 viewers lost.
This might give fans a warning to prepare for the worst at this point, but to try to hope for the best anyway. The site pointed out that the show is only down one tenth in the demo and that is apparently what matters the most.

As for how long fans will have to wait to find out if the show will come back or not, it could be a while. But Carter Matt assumes that it'll probably be announced sometime this fall because this is when the actors' contracts expire so they'll have to know if they'll need to plan their schedules for the future.
If the series is lucky enough to get a renewal, then there will be a story revolving around Ingrid's pregnancy and having to figure out who the father is; not to mention, it'll shock others when they find out that Ingrid and Dash had sex.
"There was tension between her and Freya already, and that's just when Ingrid went on a date with Dash," executive producer Maggie Friedman told TV Line. "Nobody knows she had sex with him, too. That will be an interesting reckoning, as well."
