‘The Real Housewives Of New York’ Cast 2014: Bethenny Frankel Allegedly Refusing To Join The Show Because Of Jill Zarin [VIDEO]
It looks as though there is a good reason as to why Bethenny Frankel might not be joining the next season of The Real Housewives of New York. Rumor has it that the SkinnyGirl mogul is refusing to join the show if her ex-friend Jill Zarin is re-hired, too.
Is Bethenny Frankel's Legal Battle With Jason Hoppy Causing Her Millions?
According to Radar Online on Friday, Frankel hasn't signed her name on the dotted line just yet, because she wants to make sure that Zarin will be staying off the show.
A source tells the site, "Bethenny hasn't signed a deal with Bravo or the production company for Real Housewives of New York because she is refusing to come back if arch-enemy Jill Zarin returns. For Bethenny to return to the show, she wants to move forward. Having Jill come back would just create more false drama in an attempt to recreate the past."
Is Bethenny Frankel Looking To Rejoin The Cast Of 'The Real Housewives Of New York?'
The source added, "It's not that Bethenny has any hatred towards Jill, it's simply she has moved on from all of that. In fact, Bethenny has run in to Jill and her husband, Bobb, recently and the two have exchanged pleasantries."
Meanwhile, Frankel was allegedly offered $1 million to return to the Bravo show.
According to Page Six on Tuesday, Bravo is supposedly "desperate" to get her to rejoin the cast as the show has been battling with poor ratings this past season.
So far though it doesn't look like Frankel has made up her mind on whether or not she'll be on the show again. In a new interview with Access Hollywood, Frankel said the idea would be "crazy" but it's something she wouldn't rule out.
When asked by Billy Bush on whether or not she would return, Frankel said, "I don't know, I talk to Andy [Cohen] but we're talking about another project right now. We're working on something, but it's a little bit of a secret. Everyone's asked me, but I would have to be crazy. And I am crazy."
