'The Mentalist' Season 7: 'Awesome' Finale Run In Store, Tim Kang Explains [VIDEO]
The Mentalist is heading into its seventh and final season, and the Patrick Jane drama will close out its run with a series of "awesome" episodes.

The CBS series only received a 13-episode order for season 7, but the Bruno Heller-created story will use the truncated run to tie up loose ends, starting with "Nothing but Blue Skies."
"Just watched the rough cut for the first episode, so fun! :)," tweeted actor Tim Kang (Cho) in September.

Although Kang believes it will be "bittersweet" to leave a cast after so many years together, the Mentalist constant claims his newest costars are putting in some excellent performances.
"Trust me, this last season will be awesome," Kang tweeted. "[Rockmond Dunbar], [Joe Adler], and [Josie Loren] rock! Fantastic actors!!"
After "Nothing But Blue Skies," The Mentalist will air "The Greybar Hotel," "Orange Blossom Ice Cream," an untitled episode 4 (formally referred to as "Pink Rocks), the Simon Baker-directed "The Silver Briefcase," "Green Light," and "Little Yellow House."
