Guardians of the Galaxy will come to TV screens in 2015.

Following Marvel's hit summer film, Star-Lord and his crew will take on animated form for a new Disney XD series.
"The movie and franchise quickly became a worldwide phenomenon," said Marc Buhaj, the Senior Vice President of Programming and General Manager of Disney XD. "We're looking forward to working with the great team at Marvel Television to deliver an engaging animated series that fans can enjoy each week."
'Avengers: Age Of Ultron' Exclusive Packaged With 'Guardians Of The Galaxy' DVD Release
Peter Quill, Groot, Rocket Raccoon, Gamora, and Drax will join the Disney XD lineup alongside Marvel pals The Avengers: Earth's Mightiest Heroes, Ultimate Spider-Man, Marvel's Hulk and the Agents of S.M.A.S.H., and Marvel's Avengers Assemble.
Executive producers for the series include Dan Buckley ("Marvel's Avengers Assemble"), Alan Fine ("Marvel's The Avengers"), Joe Quesada ("Marvel's Avengers Assemble"), and Jeph Loeb from Marvel's Agents of SHIELD.
