Simmons In A 'Very Dangerous Situation' On 'Agents of SHIELD', Why Should Viewers Be Worried?

Ever since launching their three-phase movie schedule, Marvel Studios has been fond of reminding fans "It's All Connected." Marvel's Head of Television, Jeph Loeb, echoed those same words at New York City Comic Con, according to Ryan Penagos, the executive editorial director for Marvel Digital Media.

Loeb uttered the familiar phrase when asked if Marvel's current ABC series could become involved with one of its upcoming Netflix endeavors, Daredevil to be specific.

The cryptic answer could merely be a way of propping the door open for the future, and at least on Agents of SHIELD's actor is hoping for an eventual crossover.

"I'm excited to see what they're going to do with [Daredevil and Iron Fist], I love that they're shooting them in New York," Gregg told The Wrap in May (via Yahoo! TV). "That's been one of the fun things about this, to have Agent Coulson rebuilding S.H.I.E.L.D., it'll be interesting to see how much that'll involve him recruiting and crossing over to those shows."
