With some of the original members of the X-Men returning in the last movie, and the next one promising even more new and old faces, one member who showed up is down for more X-Men movies and would love to see the original trilogy get their own film soon.

Speaking with IGN on Sunday, Shawn Ashmore, who plays Iceman, talked about the possibility of returning for more movies after he came back for Days of Future Past.

"For me, I love to play the character and I would love to think the door is kicked wide open," Ashmore said.

Is Evan Peters Going To Lead An X-Men Team For A New TV Show?

"Honestly, I do think the door is wide open after making the choice in the last minutes of the film to go back and see Cyclops, Jean (Grey), and the school the way that we saw it in the trilogy. It obviously leaves it open. The audience is obviously there and I would love to play the character again."

With Iceman popping up in Days of Future Past and the original cast being hinted at during the end of the movie, it wouldn't be out of the realm of possibility for Ashmore to return again. The actor added that he has had no discussions about joining Apocalypse yet.

Bryan Singer and Simon Kinberg have teased bringing back original trilogy characters, but re-casting them to have younger actors in the role so Ashmore's Iceman may show up but in a younger version.

X-Men: Apocalypse is set to open in theaters on May 27, 2016.
