If Spacey's beliefs could actually be imbibed by his shrewd character, Frank Underwood on the Netflix series, it would definitely make Frank more compassionate. While Frank doesn't have to canvass for votes anymore as he is already President, it would be interesting to see him employ a certain degree of humanity in other issues that come him way, and maybe further complicate the character. So far, Frank's humanity has only been shown in his relationship with Claire, who he feels deeply for and does love in his own twisted way. Claire's role as a Lady Macbeth type does its bit in making her more attractive to him.
The third season of House of Cards will film in Maryland, where the first and second seasons were also shot. Initially, the continuation of filming of the third season of the Netflix series was fraught with troubles over the past few weeks as the producers weren't getting permission from the State of Maryland. But the issue was finally resolved on April 25.
