According to Star Magazine on Wednesday, Jon failed to pay his rent for four months and is accused of bouncing several checks as well.
A source close to the father-of-eight told the website, "Jon didn't understand the terms of the contract and broke the lease, thinking he could just rent the property after agreeing to the rent to own the contractual agreement. Evidently, he didn't understand the terms of the contract."

What's more, Jon has supposedly failed to come up with payments since June and has been apparently living cash-strapped all summer long.
The insider added, "He acted like he had all this money. The owners tried to work with him, and he'd get cocky and claim he could easily pay for the house in cash."
Meanwhile, it's been reported that Jon is trying to cash in on Kate's TLC paychecks for her upcoming specials with the kids.
An insider close to the former reality stars tells Radar Online back in September, "Jon's trying to get a percentage of Kate's TLC salary for the new Kate Plus 8 specials."
Apparently, Jon is looking to cash in as he's had difficulty finding a job and income after having quit show business several years ago.
"He has no stable job, no steady income, and now he's trying to tell Kate that if she doesn't give him a cut of the money, he will claim the kids hate filming and they are being forced to do it," the source explained.
It looks like Kate is not buying into Jon's demands as she's refusing to give in.
The source added, "He's all bark and no bite. Kate has absolutely no intentions whatsoever of giving him any money. He doesn't have any right to it anyways! He's waived all of his rights as a parent by forgoing all child support payments."
