After a large amount of focus on the stories of some of the other characters on Red Band Society, fans are finally going to learn more about just why two other kids have wound up in the fictional Ocean Park hospital.

Jordi & Emma's Romance Affected By His Lies?

Charlie (Griffin Gluck), who has been narrating the series thus far, will become the major focus of the Oct. 15 episode, So Tell Me What You Want What You Really Really Want, as Nurse Jackson (Octavia Spencer) is forced to fight to fight to keep him in the hospital after administrators decide he needs to be removed because he has had no change in his condition since going into a coma.

"Charlie has been out of the IC now for over eight weeks and there has been no clinical improvement in his status," administrators tell Nurse Jackson and Dr. McAndrew (Dave Annable) in a preview clip for the episode. "There is no foreseeable evidence that he will come out of this coma in the near future if ever. It is our recommendation that Charlie be removed from the acute hospital setting into one of the approved facilities."

After learning the news however, Nurse Jackson won't take it well, and it will cause major conflict between her and McAndrew.

"I made a promise to that little boy, I promise that I intend to keep," she says in the clip.

"You should know better than anyone that we don't make promises here," he replies.

Naturally, in an attempt to have things go her way, Nurse Jackson will employ some less-than-approved moves to keep Charlie safe.

"Let's just say the episode ends on a very sneaky not, and I won't say who's sneaky," Spencer says in the clip while pointing to herself.

Outside of her mission to save Charlie, Dash (Brian Bradley) and Kara (Zoe Levin) will strike up a new and tentative friendship after she tries to figure out from him how to get on the organ donor list. In the process however, fans will finally see an element to Dash's personality that they haven't seen before.

"You find out a little more about Dash," Levin says. "You really see him be vulnerable for the first time."
