Ramona Singer is finally breaking her silence following her announcement this summer that she is divorcing her husband of 20 years, Mario Singer. The Real Housewives of New York star says that she was "emotionally bruised" during her marriage and that she is looking forward to a new chapter in her life.

Ramona opened up about her feelings on her blog, telling her fans that finding out that her husband was cheating on her was the worst feeling in the world for her.
She said, "Having your husband betray you is the worst feeling in the world, and I wish it on no one. I feel like I was emotionally bruised for the past five months by Mario... I was in a fragile state."

Ramona also added that she had a difficult time talking about her divorce in public, and that is why she shut down Andy Cohen's questions during the last reunion special of The Real Housewives of New York.
She explained, "When I filmed the reunion, Mario and I had reconciled only the month before. I so wanted to try to get our relationship back on track. Mario was extremely adamant about me not speaking about our relationship and his infidelity. This is so not who I am -- I always speak freely on all subjects. I was allowing my husband to control my behavior."
Ramona added, "I must say I was not as respectful as I should have been to Andy."
Ramona decided to pull the plug on her marriage after she found out that Mario was cheating on her with his mistress, Kasey Dexter.
