‘Breaking Amish’ Spoilers: Miriam Confronts Matt For Being A ‘Piece Of S—t’ And Lying To Her & Wife Courtney [VIDEO]
After initially storming out barefoot, Miriam will confront Matt and his wife Courtney as the fallout from her hook-up continues on Breaking Amish.
Courtney Comes To New York To Confront Matt And Miriam
Matt and Miriam hooked up, only for the truth about his being married to come out. However, when Courtney arrived in New York, she confronted Miriam-causing her to leave the hostel the group was staying at and walk down the street barefoot-and in the October 16 episode, fans will see that Miriam wound up in a bar. Once there, she will talk about the situation with some strangers-and reveal how she really feels about things.
"I came out here, just to have fun, find myself and s-t. I hooked up with somebody and later found out he was married," she tells the bartender and a group of three other strangers in a preview clip for the episode.
After talking to them, Miriam will reveal that she genuinely believes the worst in Matt.
"I just keep thinking what a piece of s-t Matt really is," she says in the clip. "How can you go out and lie to people and tell them you're single, just so they sleep with you, when you have a wife at home."
She will also receive advice from the people she meets on how to handle the situation-revealing that after years of being shut down by the Amish community because of being a woman, she hates that Matt has virtually put her in the same kind of place with his treatment of her.
"I want to tell him what a piece of s-t he is," she admits. "For me, growing up Amish and s-t, women don't have an opinion in anything, like I've been shut down by the Amish men for so f-king long. I'm just tired of it."
After getting a little liquid courage and feeling bolstered by the advice she has received, Miriam will then go back to the hostel and give Matt a piece of her mind.
Breaking Amish airs Thursdays at 10 p.m. on TLC.
